Russian Bitky

Bitky are Russian meat patties.  They are popular throughout the region and eaten often.  Some version also contain bread crumbs and perhaps some garlic.  They go well with mashed potatoes or buttered pasta.

  1. Yummy dinner. This reminded me of a Salisbury Steak without the gravy. It was simple to make and I really enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing, threeovens. Made for Culinary Quest 2014.

  3. When making these patties I made enough for four servings and did add the garlic and breadcrumbs as the intro mentioned. My mixture was to loose for my liking so adding the breadcrumbs pulled that together for me better. Served with mashed potatoes and store bought beef mushroom gravy. Another winner for us threeovens, thank you! Made and reviewed for the 2014 Culinary Quest – Family Picks.
