This one has habanero if you dare!
Panamanian Style Ceviche
- 1 pound fresh, firm, white-fleshed fish
- 1 large red onion
- 2 Habanero peppers
- 1 cup fresh squeezed lime juice
- 12 salt crackers
Dice the fish into 1/4-inch x 1/4-inch pieces. Place in a glass or stainless steel bowl.
Cut the onion into small dice and add to the bowl. Finely dice the habaneros and add to the bowl.
Season with salt and pour over the lime juice. Stir everything together, cover, chill for 3-4 hours.
Serve with crackers.
